That reminds me of the Kroger meat department that received pig ears with their shipment of meat. The store was in an area with very few ethnic customers, more 'yuppie' young families.

The ears were not selling so someone in the department put "Great on the Grill" stickers on the packages.

Hahahahaha!

Rumor was, 'someone' got a serious reprimand for that prank ~ it came to light to management when packages were returned for a refund.

ewww.. I bought some at the pet store and they made my girls so sick..Never again..

I know the ears and tails are used for some 'soul food' and also in a lot of Hispanic dishes. There is a lot of good flavor, same as chicken feet, but the parts must be cooked long and slow to break down. My grandma's chicken feet stock was probably the best I ever tasted. Only had it the week of chicken killin'.
